IMAGINE HEADING TO SCHOOL HUNGRY
OR WITHOUT SUPPLIES TO
MAKE IT THROUGH YOUR CLASSES.
WHAT IF YOU DIDN’ T HAVE PROPER ATTIRE
OR ENOUGH RESOURCES TO GET TO SCHOOL ON TIME?

THESE ISSUES ARE A
REALITY IN OUR COMMUNITY .

The Junior League of Waterloo-Cedar Falls
is going “plain for a purpose” to raise awareness of issues related to
poverty, support services, access, and resources for the teens in the
Cedar Valley Community. Each day our members will wear the same
simple black dress and share with their friends, colleagues and neighbors
about the challenges facing teens today and what we can do to help.

JOIN IN PUBLIC EVENTS TO SUPPORT OUR INAUGURAL
EFFORTS AND THE JUNIOR LEAGUE MISSION TO
DEVELOP WOMEN LEADERS WHO IMPACT THEIR COMMUNITIES.
